Dr. Weiler is a Researcher and Associate Professor at the McGill University School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition and the Canada Research Chair. She has a B.A.Sc. from the University of Guelph and has completed a Ph.D. from McMaster University. She is a member of the Canadian Society for Nutritional Sciences and is a recognized expert in the fields of nutrition and bone mass, body composition, growth or vitamin D.
Her research has been supported by funding from the Canadian Research Chair, the Foundation for Innovation Award, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the CDA, and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR).
