Bio: Dr. Pamela Durepos attended McMaster University to complete graduate studies and research in palliative and end-of-life. She investigated the experience of caregivers of persons with dementia during end-of-life in order to improve care. Dr. Durepos became interested in end-of-life care, palliation and caregiving during her career in the ICU at the Hamilton General Hospital. She is passionate about providing dignity and comfort for persons and families. Dr. Durepos received funding for her research from the Technology Evaluation in the Elderly Network.
