Bio: Dr. Caitlin McArthur was a post-doctoral fellow at the Geras Centre for Aging Research within the Department of Medicine at McMaster University. In recognition of academic excellence and leadership, Dr. McArthur has received 18 academic awards including the prestigious Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Silver Quill Award, McMaster Institute for Aging Research (MIRA) Postdoctoral Fellowship, and Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) Fellowship. With a passion for improving mobility and quality of life of clinically complex older adults, Dr. McArthur is co-instructor of the continuing education course Bone Fit™ hosted by Osteoporosis Canada which teaches exercise professionals about safe movements, physical activity, and exercise for people with osteoporosis. She is also an associate interRAI fellow (www.interrai.org).
