Overview: Vertebral fractures due to osteoporosis can cause pain and disability. There is no standard rehabilitation for people with spine fractures due to osteoporosis. Most people will be offered medications for osteoporosis and for pain, if applicable. We would like to evaluate whether people with spine fractures would benefit from receiving education and training on pain management, nutrition, safe movement, and exercise.

As part of this study, you will participate in once weekly exercise sessions virtually. In addition, we would ask you to complete three study visits either in person or virtually. These would happen when you join the study, 9 weeks, and 18 weeks into the study. At these visits, we would ask you to:

This study has been reviewed by and received ethics clearance through the Hamilton Integrated Research Ethics Board, McGill University Health Centre Ethics Board, and University of British Columbia Research Ethics Boards.
