- Research Co-op Student, GERAS Centre
Erin is currently enrolled in her third year of Honour Life Sciences Co-op at McMaster University. At the GERAS Centre, Erin is involved with the Fit Hips study, which aims to improve the health of patients who are frail through a multimodal intervention before undergoing hip replacement surgery. She is also involved with DANCE, a study looking to see if a 6-month dance program can reduce frailty and improve cognition, mobility, and quality of life in older adults.
Outside of her studies Erin is highly involved in the sporting community as a participant, referee, and as a part of the Women in Sports initiative and McMaster Athletes Care volunteer program.
“I’m excited to be immersed in the culture of research and the challenges and successes that it brings.”
