“Everyone knows the population is aging, but there is still a huge gap in educating health professionals and family caregivers about how best to care for older adults. What we know intellectually is not necessarily what we actually do in real life, and medical education is crucial in that process of moving from evidence into practice. My goal is ultimately to help improve patient care through not only clinical teaching, but also through research in medical education.”
