GERAS Centre Post-Doctoral Fellow Wins 2016 Osteoporosis Canada-CaMos Fellowship Award

Dr. Olga Gajic-Veljanoski (pictured right) is a postdoctoral fellow at the GERAS Centre and Department of Medicine, McMaster University, supported by the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation. Her interest in quality of life research led her to work with Dr. Alexandra Papaioannou. Dr. Gajic-Veljanoski has been presented with the 2016 Osteoporosis Canada – CaMos Fellowship Award.​

Together with Dr. Alexandra Papaioannou and the CaMos investigators, she will conduct a research study to examine the patterns of change over time in quality of life and healthcare costs after new or repeat osteoporotic fractures using data from the Canadian Multicentre Osteoporosis Study (CaMos).
