Bon is a public health specialist passionate about the improving health systems through the use of information. After working briefly as a clinician, he moved into public health career in international health working as a public health specialist across multiple countries in Africa. He worked for the School of Public Health (SOPH) at University of the Western Cape (UWC) in South Africa as well as Family health international (FHI 360) Nigeria. He has also worked for the Harvard School of Public Health managed AIDS Prevention Initiative in Nigeria (APIN) project from where after he joined Kheth’Impilo a Non-profit organization in 2013 as a health system strengthening manager.

Working in South Africa, he successfully developed system for performance tracking and management of health as well as developed processes that led to improved patient waiting time in specific public health facilities.  He has a degree in Medicine and surgery (MBBS) as well as Masters in Public Health (MPH) and is a licenced General Practitioner and a member of the Health Professional Council of South Africa (HSPCA) as well as the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
